Three big ten teams in the Elite Eight! Not bad for a supposedly weak conference.

Okay you West Virginians whupped our Texas Tech Red Raiders. It was a fun game to watch until the last 45 seconds. Maybe it is all for the best. Maybe Bobby Knight will convert from Catholicism!

I must admit that this year I haven't watched any of the games. Now that its coming down to the wire, I'd like to watch the last game. When is it?

The semis are on Saturday, April 2 and the championship game is set for Monday, April 4. Not sure about tip-off times just yet. Bring your popcorn!

Is it too late to jump onto the NC bandwagon?

Not at all! Climb aboard and help us celebrate the Tar Heels' record-breaking 16th trip to the Final Four. You may need to learn the Tar Heels' fight song (which is ok for honorary Tar Heels to sing too):

I'm a Tar Heel born,
I'm a Tar Heel bred,
and when I die
I'm a Tar Heel dead.

So ra-ra Carolina-lina,
ra-ra Carolina-lina,
ra-ra-ra Carolina!

Way to go Tar Heels!

And it never hurts to brush up on your Tar Heel History

Here's to a Carolina blue celebration in St. Louis! Cheers!

As an MSU alumni I am supposed to be thrilled by yesterdays games. I am distressed that college games are now played on the Lord's Day. This never used to be the case did it?

It's been the case for the last 50 years or so. It's frustrating for me too.

I caught all of the Illinois game and part of the NC game last night. Illinois played tough, as did NC. It should be quite a battle come Monday.

iT IS GONNA BE A GAME! However, I do not see how NC will dismantle Illinois superb passing game and three point shooting. Both teams run. Illinois is a better passing team. IMO, they have the far better front court.

I see Illinois winning by 6.
