| | | Oh, no... *consecutive* Jewish holidays!
Check the ESPN story here...
The NFL has moved the start time of a game played in NYC because of complaints about playing games on *two* consecutive Jewish holidays.
Would the Christian community were as up in arms about the NFL annually playing on 24 consecutive Lord's Days...

Let's ask they play all those games on Saturday. I actually would prefer that for a number of reasons.

God, as a righteous Judge, does it, which ought to silence us under all our sorrows; as many as they are, we have deserved them all, and more: nay, God, as a tender Father, does it for our necessary correction, that we may be humbled for sin, and weaned from the world by all our sorrows; and the good we get by them, with the comfort we have under them, will abundantly balance our sorrows, how greatly soever they are multiplied. - Matthew Henry | | The Following User Says Thank You to Joshua For This Useful Post: | |

I wonder if people who want sporting events rescheduled will be added to the list of terrorist suspects

By the way, Folks, I was being totally fecitious and sarcastic. If you thanked me b/c you thought I meant that law should be pitted against grace, I will remove them at your request.

I really don't care when they play them but there are a lot of reasons why I'd like to see them played on another day. A lot of them.
