Even though the team from Texas did not win, one thing is still true - when they played the first World Series game ever on Texas soil, it was the longest game in the history of the World Series!
Win or lose, everythings bigger in Texas!!

Apparently you and most everyone else were dreaming during this series. It is soon to be the lowest rated World Series ever. The poll on ESPN this morning asked the question of whether or not anyone stayed up to watch the whole game 3. The state-by-state results showed that even the majority in Illinois and Texas responded no, they did not stay up to watch the game.

[i]Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.
(Hebrews 12:1-3 ESV)
