| | Job Vacancy - English Football Manager
Last night England, after having being given chance after chance, were knocked out of the European championship qualifiers. They had one of the easiest groups, with Croatia being the only half decent team they faced.
This morning the manager Steve McLaren was sacked, but who will be his replacement?

Daniel -
I wanted to vote for you, but you'd have to give up your University studies, and why would you want to do that?

T | They will be finished in June, but the fans are so impatient they probably would not wait that long.

I'm no prophet, but yours was the only name I am familiar with. I hope you do a good job!

two-nil in the first 14 mins was not a good sign, I just had to laugh...then we pulled it back for them to score in the final few minutes....

I wish Mourinho would be the next manager, but Capello will be - why? Because he is the only big 'name' that will touch it with a bargepole...
You know, 7-1 for Croatia to win were remarkably generous odds...

Interest in this position is evidently low; not only have most PB members ignored it, but know the vast majority of Premiership managers (including Martin O'Neill) have ruled themselves out.

I hear Tony Blair is available. John Major too, Maggie Thatcher has refused to be considered however.

Oh yes, since Paul Jewell has taken over at Derby County he is now out of the running as well.

Added another poll option so you'd get more American input.
