I know what you mean... I kind of lost interest in football about 3 years ago;I do hate football since childhood, but I must love the Packers only because I'm from wi and am forced to. They'd find my back quite suddenly if I happened upon the chance of moving elsewhere....say Alaska. I'm quite the fair weather friend of theirs!
that's when I became aquainted with Reformed Theology. Would rather read a good book now instead!

I love the off season.
Oh, I was a die-hard Packer fan as a young man. Ahem, Bart Starr, Paul Hornung, Forrest Gregg, Jim Taylor, Jerry Kramer, Ray Nitschke et al. Still love the Dark Green and Gold!
Then when Tom Landry and the Cowboys came on the scene, and being from Texas of course I followed them. However Jerry Jones IMHO has stank up the Cowboys something terrible and everything they have become. As a matter of fact, I was just thinking about it today and wondering if Jerry was a Christian. (certainly doesn't seem that way)

It's like a terminal illness - you can manage the symptoms, but it's incurable. When we lived in Wisconsin, lots of well-meaning friends tried, but to no avail.No shame! You can always be converted!
