| | | Can UGA be in the NC game?
There is much talk here in Georgia about the Dawgs getting a chance to play in the NC game if #2 and #3 lose. The question is should they be picked to play in the NC game.
1. They didn't win their division
2. They are NOT playing in the SEC Championship game
Would this negate a team from playing in the title game?

game if either Mizzou or WV lose, and will play the one that won.
So really Mizzou and WV both have to lose for GA to have a chance at the title game.
Kansas is ranked below GA, and I don't see them vaulting
when both are off until their bowl games, even though Kansas only has one
loss.

IMO UGA's failure to win their division should preclude them from playing in the title game. The Vols beat them by 20 and they lost to South Carolina at home. I say this not just because I'm an LSU fan. People want to talk about a playoff. I would prefer that. But IMO every game in College Football is a playoff game. Even though UGA is arguably the "best" team now, they couldn't even win their division, much less the championship. I didn't think Oklahoma should have been in the Championship game either that year they lost in the Big XII championship game, likewise when Nebraska got in when they were in a similar situation to GA (not even getting to the conf. championship) even though they only had 1 loss that year.
I believe it should be Ohio State and LSU. Who did Kansas beat? They are similar to UGA, didn't even win their division. LSU blew out Va. Tech. Both of LSU's losses were in triple overtime. If it's not LSU, USC, Oklahoma and Va. Tech are all more deserving than UGA IMO.

Am I the only one who suspects W. Va's yellow uniforms contributed to the upset?

Georgia should go. If they shouldn't, they shouldn't be ranked #4, if their #4 ranking is legit, they should go. They won't though because they will be punished for not playing today. The BCS is terrible-we need a playoff system NOW!
