I know there have been other threads discussing Brett Favre's latest comeback, but I'd like to hear from Packer fans what they think of the guy.
Is there still love for Favre?
Is he now and forever the enemy?
How will you remember Favre over time?

He is fun to watch. I always enjoyed watching him play and I wish him the best with the Vikings organization. I like how the packers are looking this year although i think Vick was a missed opportunity.
He loves playing the game. In watching him that becomes immediately apparent. The Packers wanted to move on without him and i understand that decision. Bretts getting older and as a result isnt what he once was. I agree with the Packers organization on this decision.
It will be fun to have him on a rival team. Its gonna make for some great football.

He was consistent for the most part, and a real boon to the offense because of his multiple threats. However, the important thing about the sentences above is the tense. He stayed on too long as it is with the Packers, in my opinion, and it would be, I think, much for the best if he had retired the first time he actually thought about it. I certainly can understand not wanting to give up something that is so much part of your life and something you enjoy - but he's really stretching things a bit too far now. I'm sure there will be flashes of his old self, but I suspect his play will result in many disappointments for the Vikings this year.
