All Blacks Haka

I don't think that there are very many Rugby Union fans on the board as a percentage. But, I am one. I've been a fan of the All Blacks since I was very young. Our minister when I was growing up had spent quite a long time in NZ and fostered a love for the team in me. Another very good friend I had growing up was originally from Dunedin. He just sent me this link.

Nice... it would be even more intimidating if they had spears.

And maybe some blue face paint.

Go All Blacks!!

Actually I'm a team Scotland fan but I got to keep my wife happy so I pull for her team when they're playing. (Unless of course they're playing team Scotland.)

My team always seems to lose though. What can I say I must be a masochist.

Well, the All Blacks do have the best international record for a reason.

Here is another haka. A bit more intimidating.

They've alienated a bit of their fan base though in the last year or so. Not sure what the deal was. Player trades or something I'm assuming.

I saw an All Blacks game awhile back on Setanta Sports network where they were actually getting booed by their own fans over something and the stands were nowhere near as full as I've seen them.

The Australians are trying to figure that out

Stephen, from what Carey tells me there are areas of Dunedin that look just like Scotland. Is that your take as well?

A while ago when NZ Maori were playing Scotland, I gave my support to Scotland. A few friends in my church were upset by this but I am a NZ born Scot!!

Dunedin has more hills than Edinburgh. Though it could be said that the broader Otago region (where Dunedin is located) has rolling landscapes similar to Scotland.

Note however that NZ is much more geologically active than the UK so this does have an effect on the landscapes.
