| | | I love Tombstone. My line is:
"Oh, make no mistake. It's not revenge he's after. It's a reckoning."

| | | Billy Clanton: Why, it's the drunk piano player. You're so drunk, you can't hit nothin'. In fact, you're probably seeing double.
[Billy Clanton draws a knife] Doc Holliday: [takes out a second gun] I have two guns, one for each of ya.

| | Great movie. My boss' brother-in-law is one of the stars, Stephen Lang (he also played Stonewall Jackson in Gods and Generals).

| | | Great movie. And it has Charleton Heston in a nice tough-guy cameo. Surprised no one has mentioned: "I'm your huckleberry."

| | I almost really liked the movie (Val Kilmer was great), however there are 2 things that basically made it less than stellar to me:
1. Kurt Russell does not fit the mold.
2. The scene where he's walking across the river screaming, "NO!!! NO!!!" was just a bit too cheesy for my tastes.
IMHO, no Westerns can trump the following classics: The Outlaw Josey Wales
Unforgiven
Pale Rider

Ike Clanton: What is that now? Twelve hands in a row? Holliday, nobody's that lucky.
Doc Holliday: Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!

Doc Holliday: Why Ed does this mean we're not friends anymore? You know Ed, if I thought you weren't my friend... I just don't think I could bear it!
| Great movie, thanks for reminding me about it.
Conor.

High Plains Drifter | I agree with all of those, and would add Tombstone, Lonesome Dove, and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly to the list. |

Jim | I have never seen this movie.
It appears that I must remedy this situation immediately.

During that gun fight...count the consecutive shots by Costner. I am almost positive he shoots more shots than the guns could hold. |

| | | Doc's line to the question, why are you out here? ...
Because he is my friend.
I don't have many.
...and the card Doc gets on his death bed.
To Doc Holiday
MY FRIEND.
This is the reason I like this movie. The Loyalty level between friends is just emotionally what people in life desire the most. A true friend. True friends are hard to come by in this world.
