Princess Bride - "Battle of Wits"

"You've heard of Plato? Aristotle? Socrates?"
"Yes."
"Morons."

Also, another noteworthy quote:

"Australians are all criminals."

My wife refuses to watch this film with me because I have it memorized. When I say "memorized" I mean to the level that I can flawlessly recite the "clings" from the sword fight!

Here's a quote, "Life is pain highness, anyone who says differently is selling something."

That was *so* 3 weeks ago! I remember the swashbuckling scene but missed you had posted that.

I don't quite have it memorized to this level, but my wife refuses to watch it with me for the same reason.

I remember as a freshman in college I used to go every Friday night to a lecture hall where they'd show movies. It must have been 1987 when I saw this. At first I wasn't impressed with the title and thought it would be a sappy movie but had nothing better to do. Following the string of inconceivables and the sword fight I was hooked!

Oh yeah, baby. I had the good fortune to see this in an independent cinema a few years ago. Definitely a classic.
