Any thoughts on the forthcoming Nim's Island?

I saw a preview for it a couple of weeks ago when I tok the kids to see The Spiderwick Cronicles, and it looked promising. From the preview it seemed like an old-fashioned-swash-buckling family adventure movie.
We like that kind of movie in our house.

All of my kids (who can read) have read all of the books since we saw the movie. I am confronted daily with "dad, did you know that there was no protective circle in THE BOOK?
My 2 year old keeps telling me about the "keepy movie--the spider cronkicles" that he wants to watch (again) at the "movie theater wif pop corn".
Plus, I got to enjoy "THE LOOK" that people with largish families enjoy when ever they go out in public.

Enjoyed it. Best movie to move me (wow, say it fast!) since Nannie McPhee.
Sure, it wasn't totally believable or even consistent, but it was fun.
(And I despise Disney movies!)
