Movie Quote Game

Here's how to play:
Player #1 puts up a movie quote: "No, Luke. I am your father".

Everyone else has to guess what movie the quote is from. Whoever gets it right places a new quote for other to guess (this new quote is on the same message board thread as the previous). And let's keep it to one quote at a time.

If Player #2 guesses Player #1's quote correctly ("The Empire Strikes Back"), then Player #1 cannot guess at Player #2's quote right away. Player #1 must wait for the following quote to come up. This is to prevent any monopolies some movie buffs on the PB might create. ...like me.

If absolutely no one has any idea what the movie of the quote is, then the current player with the quote can use his or her own discretion as to whether to give a hint or to pick a new quote.

...And no Googling for the right answer!

I'm sure that as we play, we'll find that a few distinctions will have to be made, but I think we'll all manage.

Please keep the quotes clean, and obey all rules currently in effect on the PB Forums. Enjoy!

My turn:
Quote:
Hey guys, I just wanted you to know that, the reactors won't take it; the ship is breaking apart and all that... Just FYI.
BTW, participants are totally lame if they use the Internet to search for the answer. If you don't recognize the quote then no cheating.

And just for clarification, please give the current quote-holding player the time to respond with "you have the right answer". I think there are enough of us who are PB-addicts that we should get responses fast enough.

I figured you had hit the rack. I knew that quote from the moment you said "No touchy"

No, I usually do all my server work at night in case I have to bring it off line. And while I do that, it's PB time!

Well, since tellville is offline, I'm going to break the rules and add another:
Quote:
Yeah. OK, well, uh, we found, uh, this mouse in a bottle of YOUR BEER, eh. Like, we was at a party and, uh, a friend of ours - a COP - had some, and HE PUKED. And he said, uh, come here and get free beer or, uh, he'll press charges.

I'm going to pick a romantic one. I like this one in particular because it shows up again in the soundtrack of a DreamTheater song.

"But he's the sort who can't know
anyone intimately, least of all a woman.
He doesn't know what a woman is.
He wants you for a possession,
to look at like a painting or an ivory box.
Something to own and to display.
He doesn't want you to be real,
to think and to live. He doesn't love you.
But I love you. I want you
to have your own thoughts and ideas,
even when I hold you in my arms."

Ahhhhhhhhhh

Sounds like something from a Clint Eastwood movie. I just can't place it, but am I even close?

Nope. I know it, but only because I (gasp) googled to verify, and found that I was wrong with my own guess. Somebody else'll have to get this one.

Rather than wait for confirmation of being correct, I'll just post the next quote. If it turns out I was wrong, just ignore this post.

It's Latin. Loosely translated, it means... we cheat.

It also sounds like "You gonna pick those pistols or whistle 'Dixie'" from "Outlaw Josie Wales".
