| | | Latest Bourne movie? Is the recent new Jason Bourne movie worth watching? I really enjoyed the second one (except for the terrible ending) but vaguely remember the first one. This stuff is kind of down my alley.

| | | If you liked the second one, you will love the third. Every now and then I find myself cringing at the level of violence in action movies, particularly Jason Bourne's body count getting through the day. Still, it is a VERY exciting example of the genre.

| | | The second is the weakest. The first has the benefit of the storyline of bourne discovering himself. But the third is just fantastic. Of course, Bourne is almost too good to be true, but the way he thumbs his nose at those who are trying to kill him is wonderful.
He pulls a terrific stunt where he fools the agency head into going to a specified location, then phones him and tells him he is...somewhere else rather significant. I won't go into details as it would spoil it, but that moment of sheer 'in-your-face' chutzpah almost raised a cheer in the cinema.
My best film of 2007. I don;t watch many, admittedly.

It is none stop action from start to finish.
I watched Jet Li and Jason Statham's War over the weekend, it was intense, but there was explicit nudity and cussing, so I wouldn't recommend it, but for action and storyline, it was definitely good.

| | | The martial arts are always nice to watch. At one point Bourne does a nice towel choke similar to the one done with a gi in Judo/Jujitsu, some nice Karate style takedowns and Aikido wrist throws.
Thumbs up.
