I'm surprised there are no trailers yet. My son will be pretty excited about this.
We have all the classic Hulk cartoons on DVD. They're hilarious - from General Ross to the "Evil Genius simply known as The Leader". It seems like, back then, they didn't really have much time for a plot but had to have some story to go along with the animation. We also have about 18 episodes of the 90's Cartoon that's really good.

Yes this summer will once again be ruled by the sequel.
The month of May brings us Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Dr.Jones had been on hiatus since the Reagan administration but decided to come back for one final whip cracking hurrah.
The following week will see the solemn final role of Heath Ledger as The Dark Knight will add the most anticipated edition to the Batman series since it began back in 1989, fittingly the Joker returns.
The Incredible Hulk is slated to try and capitalize on the super hero phenomenon and apologize for the lackluster one made four years ago.
Prince Caspian the next entry in the Narnia canon is set for a summer release as well.
These will be the summer blockbusters of 2008.

BTW, I might have it buried in my stuff somewhere but I saw Lou Ferrigno in the flesh as the Hulk about a decade before Daniel's nightmares. We were at Universal Studios in 1977 (or was it 1978) when our touring trolley stopped near some trees and out he walked in full green garb. I was 10 at the time and it was super cool to see him. My sister (then 4) was terrified.

Bana was OK. I actually really like Norton as an actor.

Norton is probably my favorite actor. I dont watch many movies at all anymore, but when I was younger (both in age and spirituality) I used to watch everymovie to hit video. He did an excellent job in American History X and Fight Club, I wouldnt suggest either movie to anyone now because of thier sinfulness, however American History X does capture the racist mindset well.
Primal Fear is probably his greatest acting job ever, I am unsure as to the rating on that movie but I remember he blew me away. The Score was an excellent heist flick staring him and Robert Deniro.
Anyways, yeah he should blow Eric Bana's portrayal out of the water.

Is this movie picking up where the last one left off I wonder?
Was a huge Hulk fan many years ago and had a huge collection of Hulk comic books. Wish I had them back so I could give them to my son.

Didn't we already have an Incredible Hulk film just a few years ago?
Why a new one so soon?

Ok to answer some questions
-The last Hulk movie was terrible so they are "re-doing it" or as was already said, restarting it.
-Why? Well because there is plans for an "Avengers" movie. Coming before that though is a Thor and Captain America movie (they are already working on those). The wrestler HHH is being considered for Thor and rumor has Brad Pitt possibly playing Cap.
-The Hulk has to be CGI because in the comics he's so HUGE that no man could play him, ever. He gets larger and stronger the angrier he gets.
-Norton is a much better choice for this role because of his love of the character.
-The Abomination is the main villain in this movie and is also CGI

Hey Andrew, Have you seen the TV ads for the movie? The man doing the voice over now says, "you'll like it when he's angry" From all I have read, this movie is going to be great. I want to take my son to see it instead of Speed Racer. They say it will make people forget the first Hulk movie they did.

My son is pretty excited. This past weekend he was playing Hulk with his friend. He actually has a dress up costume with muscles but he was sharing it so he simply pulled his shirt off and he was the Hulk. The trailer always gets me going when I see it.

We just came back from it this evening.
I REALLY enjoyed it. I grew up with the Hulk reruns, and Lou Ferrigno, Bill Bixby, etc.
If you like the Hulk in ANY capacity, you will enjoy the movie.
Personally, I loved it. Yes, it could have been more "deep" and there could have been a longer storyline development (as Edward Norton wanted), but listen, you are going to see the HULK SMASH things up. Trust me on this, it delivers.
Make sure that you are in a theater that has a really good sound system. We went to Premiere Muvico. Let me tell you, the seats literally were shaking on every step the Hulk made running down the NY street. It was actually almost overwhelming. My wife enjoyed it when the calm parts were on.
I enjoyed the sound on this movie exceedingly.
Net step, the Hulk in IMAX.
And yes, that little surprise at the end is nice. They are finally doing justice to the comics in creating some great action movies.
Without doubt, this HULK SMASHED the last one.
