Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God.

The Hunt for Gollum - Free Online Movie

Got this from my brother. Looks like some independent film makers made a fan film called The Hunt for Gollum. It's 40 mins long and is supposed to be pretty good:

Must be very popular. I guess it's free as long as their servers work.

Man . . . !!! You've gone and piqued my interest. Now I'm gonna have to bookmark it . . . do you know how cluttered and unkempt my bookmark list is?! The good news is, I probably won't remember I bookmarked it until some distant future day when I decide to clean up my bookmarks. By then their servers should be fixed.

I saw it last night with some friends. It is very well done, high quality shots, good music, and they even managed to find some pretty good Aragorn and Gandalf look-a-likes. I think their message to Peter Jackson was pretty much, "Anything you can do I can do cheaper!" The whole film cost them about $4,000. The downside is that they play very heavily off the movies and are not all that original in the script. But it's impressive nonetheless. A good use of 40 minutes.
