Yes. We saw it at the drive-in a couple of months ago with our 4-year old.

We loved it. My wife and I both thought it had a refreshing pro-life theme just under the surface. It must have slipped past the Hollywood execs.

I've heard that the original book is required reading for Law Students.

It is God that multiplies our sorrows....
God, as a righteous Judge, does it, which ought to silence us under all our sorrows; as many as they are, we have deserved them all, and more: nay, God, as a tender Father, does it for our necessary correction, that we may be humbled for sin, and weaned from the world by all our sorrows; and the good we get by them, with the comfort we have under them, will abundantly balance our sorrows, how greatly soever they are multiplied. - Matthew Henry

The original book is one of my all-time favorite children's story. Nothing cooler.

The recent movie seemed very strange in the HDTV color used nowadays for cartoons. Also, it did not seem to follow what I remember of the original book story line.

I'm not generally impressed with movies generally so, with that caveat, my suggestion is to stick with an animated reading of the book to your children.
