Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God.

Help me netflix it.

We broke down and got Netflix.
1) What should I queue?
2) How do people get what's on their computer to show up on their TV?
What kind of cords, etc, do I need?

We are expecting a long hibernation this winter, so we want to have some good movies to accompany it.

We loved renting TV series when we did Blockbuster online a few years ago--any recommendations?
Any Jane Austen movie recommendations?
Comedies, etc.

Thanks!!

I recommend you queue Chaplin films:

City Lights
The Kid
The Great Dictator
The Circus
Modern Times

You could also try some of Werner Herzog's documentaries, if you wanna try some artsy stuff:

The White Diamond
Wheel of Time
Encounters at the End of the World
Land of Silence and Darkness

You might also try these films:

Brief Encounter
Spoorloos (The Vanishing) (a Dutch film, very suspenseful and possibly scary, though no gore, language, etc.)
Nights of Cabiria (deals with a prostitute but no offensive material in the film, so far as I can remember)

What do you like? NetFlix has pretty much everything you could get on DVD except pornographic material.

I've started a quest (of sorts) to watch the AFI Top 100 films (from the 1998 list). I've already seen Casablanca, Citizen Kane and the Godfather.

PC is a couple years old...it obviously has USB slots. I have no idea what else.

TV is old, not HD. It has the three color prong connector holes.

Obviously, this language is not technical and shows my cluelessness : )
