    Deja Vu

My wife and I saw Deja Vu tonight, and it is great! If anyone wants a movie that will provoke thought and entertain you, this is it. One of the best movies I've seen in awhile.

Jeff - yeah...I went and left right away because I felt I had seen it before.

Was their nudity in it? Nudity is the one thing my wife and I agreed that would make us avoid a movie. I read a detailed review at www.screenit.com but it says "we see partial views of a females breasts and butt while she is in the shower". I don't know if this means we see part of this but never the whole body part, or if we see quick views of those parts.

Sorry if this sounds weird, but can you confirm for me what exactly is or is not shown in this shower scene?

Good question Adam. I didn't look up the facts about the movie before we went, but there is what you would consider a "quick" viewing of "those parts." It honestly wasn't enough for me to give the scene a second thought.

    Thanks Jeff!

My wife and I are often teased for this stance, but it's something we agreed to years ago. You could argue that our stance should be broader, and maybe it should, but we just bottom lined our differences by concluding that if a movie shows any body part that would normally never be displayed in public then we would not attend.

I want to see this too, but because of this I won't.

Thanks again because I was looking for an excuse to go!

I agree, it was an entertaining movie, but I think it fails in the same way that minority report did... they make time non-linear in the strict sense. All I shall say. It was entertaining.
1st Kings 18:21 - "And Elijah came near to all the people and said, 'How long will you go limping between two different opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him.' And the people did not answer him a word." (ESV)
