If anyone still remembers my first PB sig line from 2004, or my posts about William Wallace, and how his death reminds me of the Scottish Covenanters, or has ever heard me talk about how his last word in the movie echoes through my mind always, then they will understand why I love this movie so much, its flaws notwithstanding.
This clip I think is beautifully done, combining a folk song with the flowers, maidens, young men and graveyards in the movie.

It has always been one of my favorites...then again, I like all the historical semi-fiction films.

One of my favorite movies too!
Throw in Princess Bride and Lord of the Rings for my top 3

| | | One of the handful.....
I remember your references to Braveheart, well...I love this film.
It's one of a handful of films, that over time, I want to watch with my son as he grows older.
