Actually I did think about the hotel chain.....but, then I thought , well, like one really is better than another! Seriously, I love westerns but I am not familiar with the movie you named....who is in that and when did it come out?

Josey Wales -1976
You need to watch it. If nothing else for the wisdom of Chief Dan.

This may explain the old adage about Baptists being Methodists with shoes, and Presbyterians being Baptists who can read. To round out the adage, Lutherans might qualify as Presbyterians who drink to excess, and Episcopalians as Lutherans who know when to say when. - D.G. Hart

Is that because they're so far above and beyond all other Westerns that it isn't fair to include them? Actually I think Tim Conway is even funnier. And the Sheriff in Rides Again.... I'm not sure film is capable of anything more.

Ditto, Mr. King. Unforgiven is great also. Tombstone was OK until Kurt Russell did that ridiculous "No! No! No!" charge into the river.

Josh,

It's good to see a man with freedom on his mind! But while I appreciate your love for paleoconservative political theorist Kirk Russell, I think Kurt Russell is the one you had in mind.

Ok, ok, how about Blazing Saddles? Better choice?

I think I'm going to check in to a Best Western, order a Tombstone pizza, or maybe go out for a spaghetti dinner, some place cheap, where I can pay with a fist full of dollars, and drown my sorrows because I'm unforgiven for liking Lonesome Dove.
