how BIG is the Lord's Supper

In my experience most churches i have been to conduct the Supper by giving each participant a small bite sized portion of bread and a small cup of juice/wine.

Is this the traditional reformed practice?

When paul rebukes the corinthians for playing the fool and getting drunk at the supper, was he implying that the Supper was a bigger, normal-meal sized affair?

Do any churches still practice this?

Churches today practice what I call the lords appetizer. Portion controlled cubes and thimble.

When the early church gathered, they celebrated with a full meal.

What the Corinthians were doing was mixing the love feast with the Lord's Supper.

    Consider Calvin's Comments on 1 Cor 11:17-22.
