Exclusively Psalms YouTube Collection

I appreciate it when folks post hymns or Psalms they find on Youtube. Its really edifying to listen to them as they bring our focus to what God has done, who He is, etc. The Acapella Youtube Psalm that Andrew posted was a blessing. It prompted me to look for more.

Here's one that I found that really reminds me of God's greatness. Sometimes when I read things in the Bible, like "...and God said, Let their be _____, and there was_____" I need to be reminded of just what happened when God spoke the word - mind boggling! Last time I went whale watching I looked at the oceans and thought about God gathering all the waters together - try doing it, its no small task!

What YouTube Psalms have been a blessing to you? Let's see how many we can collect.

PS. I wouldn't be upset if you added some God honoring Youtube hymns as well. That's one rabbit trail I'll gladly go on.

For those who know Hebrew, feel free to sing along

Psalm 130 to a familiar hymn tune:

This is not a video, but it is a very nice recording of Psalm 23 to the tune of crimond.

http://www.thelordismyshepherd.co.uk...MyShepherd.mp3

1650 Scottish Psalter
Psalm 23

1 The Lord's my shepherd, I'll not want.
2 He makes me down to lie
In pastures green: he leadeth me
the quiet waters by.
3 My soul he doth restore again;
and me to walk doth make
Within the paths of righteousness,
ev'n for his own name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk in death's dark vale,
yet will I fear none ill:
For thou art with me; and thy rod
and staff me comfort still.
5 My table thou hast furnished
in presence of my foes;
My head thou dost with oil anoint,
and my cup overflows.
6 Goodness and mercy all my life
shall surely follow me:
And in God's house for evermore
my dwelling-place shall be.

Psalm 52:8-9
8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
9 I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.

God's love for us is amazing. Listening to these reminded me of:

Rom 8:38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,
Rom 8:39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Bob -- If you will pardon this digression from the purpose of your thread, you may enjoy this video introduction to the Scottish Covenanters.

Thanks. That was interesting. So, John Knox preached at the ceremony when Bloody Mary's son was put on the throne?

Yes, that's right. John Knox preached the coronation sermon for King James on July 29, 1567.
