I am desiring to listen to lectures on the RTS website pod cast. Do I have to have an Apple brand ipod or will any brand work with i tunes?

Any MP3 player will play music/lectures in MP3 format.

I have a "Creative," I was wondering if i could download lectures from "i Tunes" onto it or if it had to specifically be an "Apple i pod?"

The creative players will not synch out of the box with itunes, however you can set up a separate library and drag them to your creative player, and depending on if you are on a Mac or are on a PC there are plugins and hacks to synch with non-ipods. That being said, my nano was cheap and goes with me everywhere.
