I'm wondering if anyone would recommend a good software for prayer journals? I know I can do it in Word or even Logos, but I was wanting something more portable.

e-Sword - the Sword of the LORD with an electronic edge has a prayer journal and will remind you of prayer request depending on how you set it up. Also has daily devotionals that open when you open the program and is a good free Bible study software

For the ultimate in portability, nothing beats Notepad and plain text. If that's too austere, you could get a flash drive, put AbiWord, a free, portable, Word-compatible word processor, on it, and carry the software and your journal with you.

If you use a Mac you can download a widget that you can lock with a password.
