Another MAC issue

Got Tiger today. I have two G4's with the exact same specs. Tiger installed on the one no problem, but the other just keeps spitting the DVD tray back out as if there is a problem.

Any idea why?

Adam,

Try "scrubbing" the entire Harddrive and doing a completely new intstall of Tiger.

Maybe it really is a coffee cup holder.

Seriously, I have no idea. Assuming you can read DVD on both machines maybe it needs a cleaning.

Is there any boot-up menu to switch to the DVD?

Just sold it! A co-workers G3 broke and he was in desperate need. I unloaded it on him etting himknow Tiger wouldn't go on it. So whatever it is I hope he figures it out.
