How about a section dedicated strictly to Pastoral Theology?
Topics like: Qualification for eldership, the inward/outward call to the ministry, student ministers, tutorship/mentorship programs, pastoral visitation, ministering to the sick and dying, weddings, funerals, catechizing, homiletics, the pastor's prayer life, family life, experimental religion, great pastors from the past and present, church discipline, clerical attire, etc?
I'd be on board for that.
Kind regards,
Jerrold

This a good Idea, I especially think tutorship/mentorship is important in ministry. I think if this was done more by solidly reformed pastors we would have a much stronger ministry.

There was some kind of a small problem with the database, because tehre were other -1 replies.
I would say for now to post threads in either the Pastoral Concerns or Ecclesiology section (or Preaching and Worship for preaching issues) and let's see what we get. If we get a large number of threads, than we can think about a new forum. We already have a ton.
