I have noticed that the book reviews section, or at least the ones I submit, has about 5 inch margins on each side, leaving a long, skinny column of text in the middle. This makes it seem like the review is several pages long instead of only a few paragraphs. How do I make this look like normal text?

It must be your screen resolution. There's really not a way for you to fix this. I'd have to take some time to see if that column can be tweaked or not. You must be using a pretty miniscule resolution if it's that wide.
