The forums are not being deleted. They are being removed from general view. If someone desires to participate in such discussions, they can contact the Admins and apply for access - which will be approved on a case by case basis, including an assessment of a person's participation on the Board.
So do not fear, this is streamlining and shepherding, not a lockdown.
