Sometimes your comments sound like something I would say (what a scary thought)

Matt - maybe you should start out your program with, "Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of men? The Spirit knows."

"You can have a better life, a better house, a better car...." Yada Yada...

Yeah he actually said that, when I was hanging out with my friend, a pastor's son, and flipping through the TV station... nothing like the health-and-wealth Gospel, right?

It's funny, when I get home from work, I throw in my iPod and the software pops up. I always wonder: "Did Matt release another?" I enjoy them because they're quick.

Is it just me or does this abundant life health-and-wealth preaching parallel the monistic self-actualization of Maslow's secular humanist pop psychology? Focuses on ego too much, and not a more God-centered dependence.
