This is just the kind of sensationalistic thing that I can't stand about certain segments of American Christianity. I'd be willing to wager that such a thing doesn't exist outside of our own culture.

It reminds me of the folks (a few years ago) who were taking out insurance policies for their unbelieving families so that after they are raptured they will still be be able to provide for them. Hows that for convoluted reasoning from the Scriptures.

Never mind that they are going to go to Hell if they are opposed to Christ -especially when He appears to take vengeance on all those who obey not the Gospel.

Oh, you forgot, some of them are just carnal Christians - when the AntiChrist comes they'll get back on our bandwagon! That's what they told me when I was a little nipper.

Even though I wont be here for you, to explain everything....and since the Holy Spirit will be removed from the earth as He's not really omni present, I choose to leave each of you those emails to mediate grace to you that otherwise would not have been given to you...no need to thank me, God will do that after I've been raptured.

I wonder how he's going to send all these emails if he plans to be raptured.

Maybe he's got it on a timer and resets it every morning? He needs both a life and an enema.

But wait...

You mean to say that you have to believe in the rapture in order to BE raptured?

You mean God is not sovereign in this?
