The Error of Replacement Theology SWRC

I love the opening of Southwest Radio Church:

"God is STILL on the throne...and PRAYER changes thing."(sic)

Larry Spargamino, a former presbyterian and amillenarian, argues that God is not glorified by a spiritual fulfillment of a physical promise (land, etc.)

He says, "It would be like a man making a marriage vow and later including two more wives."

I know he is answered rather easily but I would love to hear thoughts on this.

He says it would be like including two more wives? Dispensationalists plainly state that God has a wife and Jesus has a bride. I don't believe it is we who claim God is married to more than one!

Another news flash from Dispie-danya;

Because Paul says in Rom.11 that the saving of Israel is like life from the dead, now we know that we won't rise from the dead until the nation of Israel accepts the Messiah. So now we Presbyterians are holding back the Parousia?

Exactly Trevor. But they will never call it that, to call it that would be to lend it an air of legitimacy.

We did not replace Israel.....we ARE Israel.

Shouldn't it rather be "Expansion Theology"...

the expansion of the tree of Israel to encompass all nations?
Not Replacement...Expansion!
