| | | When do you tithe? I have my own Biz. and due to when I pay myself I tithe monthly. I know some do every week. I know an elderly lady who does it yearly, but before you bash her, it is well in the 7 digits! (nice)

| | | We do it after we get paid - sometimes it's every week, sometimes every other depending on how the pay stubs work out.

| | | My primary job pays monthly so we tithe monthly. I have to do this because I am not very good with money and it is easier for me just to sit down at the end of the month and figure it all out.
My wife and I also follow (more or less) the Festival Tithe.

That is fine dear brother. We must do what we have to! | I agree! I feel what is important is that we ,set aside gifts to God through the local Church. Having served on Vestry 2 times I can say it comes out the same, that is when I was on a board looking at the Churches books, we dealt mostly with Monthly and Yearly items in regard to our budget.

| | | As soon as I get paid monthly we write the cheque. Then it is done, and we cannot forget, or spend it by mistake !?!

Could you elaborate on how this works? How exactly does the Lord lead? Is it some kind of movement in the heart? Is it when your church expresses a specific need? |

Is it when your church expresses a specific need? | Tithing removes this difficulty; we give God His 10% and so what we do with the rest is our business - no one else has a right to dictate how we spend our money after we render to God His tax. Tithing, therefore, removes guilt-manipulation. |
