| | | Split Thread From \"This Sabbath Day May the Lord Be Praised\"
The Lord's Day you mean!
The Sabbath was done away with in Christ.
Christians meet on Sunday to worship what God has done in bringing Christ back from the dead and so opening the Way for all who will believe.
Not to keep the Law.
Adamant.

No, I meant BOTH Sabbath and Lord's Day.
I moved this, so as not to detract from the Original thread.

| I oppose the reference to Sunday being the Sabbath, your wrong.
And if you meant what you said why not say it.
Lets get circumcised in the flesh while we are at it.

I don't understand this. I did say it. It was inclusive within "No, I meant BOTH Sabbath and Lord's Day."
Why would we get circumsized in the flesh? Have we not been baptized?

| Yes I have Josh.
You have to cut loose from this OT thing and live in the New.
Do you have the Spirit?
Stop calling Sunday the Sabbath, are you Gentile or Jew?

| Are you kidding me? Do you see a great divorce of the NT from the OT? No offense, but this smacks of antinomianism. Was the Sabbath part of the ceremonial law? If so, why is it a Creation ordinance, as opposed to a Mosaic Ordinance? Indeed. And He, me. As did Abraham, Isaac, Jacob. Salvation has always been by Grace through Faith. Can that Faith come apart from the regeneration of the Spirit? By no means. Quote: |

| I am a complete Jew. One who is a Jew inwardly. The seed of Abraham. One of the elect of God. A part of the invisible Church. And yet, physically speaking, I'm a gentile.
