Reading Bahnsen's "Theonomy In Christian Ethics" (Again)

I read it last spring and after digesting some other works mostly unrelated to the question of theonomy (I did read, thanks to ChristusRegnant, By This Standard and Theonomy and the Westminster Confession by Martin Foulner) I have decided to read the book again. Just like last time I'll post some things I run into for discussion and clarification.

For some other works dealing with Theonomy by Bahnsen et al click on FreeBooks from the Institute for Christian Economics

It has the other two written by Bahnsen. There are some other books dealing with theonomy, Calvin, and Westminster.

Q. How many things are necessary for thee to know, that thou, enjoying this comfort, mayest live and die happily?
A. Three, the first, how great my sins and miseries are, the second, how I may be delivered from all my sins and miseries, the third, how I shall express my gratitude to God for such deliverance.
