What can you tell me about Hermann Friedrich Kohlbrugge [maybe Kohlbruegge]
A pietist german friend thinks highly of his writings. Was he antinomian

In the orthodox reformed churches in the Netherlands, they really like to read the writtings of Kohlbrugge. Concerning the law, he stands in the same line as William Huntington.

I have not read Huntington. I know Huntington was sometimes accused of being an antinomian. I don't think there is a consensus on wheather or not he was.
The only book by Kohlbrugge available in English is his Sermons on the First Epistle of Peter. I see there is an edition of his sermons on the Heidelberg available in Deutsch. It is probably in the Deutscher Fraktur Script so it would be a rough go to read.
Was Kohlbrugge a Netherlander or a Deutscher?

He was born in Amsterdam in 1803 and was a friend of Abraham Kuyper.
