Very good Gabe. It reminds very much of Al Martins lessons on Christian liberty. As Martin says "Chrittian liberty is pleasing Christ".

Nice article.... it is aligned with the way I understand God´s law.

Christ has freed us from the condemnation of the law (which is death), not obedience to the law. Christ is your King and there are laws in His Kingdom.

Under the New Covenant, we are given certain provisions which enable us to obey His law. We are given a heart transplant to know Him. We have His law written in our hearts and in our minds. We have been given His Spirit, that we might follow His lead and walk with God.

Now, as partakers of the New Covenant, we have the equipment to obey the law (this is a righteousness that exceeds the scribes and the Pharisees). They had an outward righteousness and the outside of the cup was clean, yet the inside was filthy. We have both an inward and outward righteousness via the Spirit and our obedience to the law.

I see the law written in our heart and in our mind as the exact same law he gave to Moses. He made His ways known to Moses (Psalm 103:7). We know from Hebrews, that the death of Christ necessitated a change in the law (priesthood and animal sacrifices).

Again, nice article.
