| | | Worst Parody Ever
Feeling somewhat ambitious, I decided to write a parody of ridiculous proportions. I'd like to make a you-tube video of this at some point, if y'all think it might be worthy of such. Here's the lyrics- sung to the tune of We Didn't Start the Fire by Billy Joel We All Watched the Cartoons
Tom and Jerry, Mickey Mouse, Betty Boop, Minnie Mouse,
Felix the Cat, Little Lulu, Wile E. Coyote.
The Roadrunner, Marvin Martian, Pepe Le Pew, Foghorn Leghorn,
Wally Walrus, Gumby Pokey, And Chilly Willy.
Charlie Dog, Droopy, Porky Pig, Goofy,
Popeye, Barney Bear, And ol’ Woody Woodpecker.
Chip and Dale, Tweety, Olive Oyl, Swee’ Pea,
Henery Hawk, Mister Magoo, Rock and the Professor.
(Chorus) We all watched the cartoons,
After school before play and half of Saturday.
We all watched the cartoons,
It was lots of fun though they were all reruns.
Tony Tiger, Superman, Yosemite Sam,
Baby Huey, Frisky Puppy, Michigan J Frog.
Mighty Mouse, Casper, Astro Boy, Pink Panther,
Speedy Gonzalez and Sam the Sheepdog.
Elmer Fudd, Wimpy, Huey Dewey and Louie,
Andy Panda, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Fred and Barney.
Rocky and Bullwinkle, Tasmanian Devil,
Yogi Bear, Sylvester, Heckle and Jeckle.
(Chorus)
Atom Ant, Scooby Doo, Underdog, Boo Boo,
Boris and Natasha, Magilla Gorilla.
Snagglepuss, Johnny Quest, Spike and Tyke, Star Trek,
Space Ghost, Beany Cecil, George of the Jungle.
Hong Kong Phooey, Tom Slick, Top Cat, Moby Dick,
Huckleberry Hound, Little Roquefort, James Hound.
Jabberjaw, Jetsons, Danger Mouse, Wonder Twins,
Inspector Clouseau, Abbott and Costello.
(Chorus)
Super Friends, Spider Man, Baggy Pants, Chan Clan,
Bird Man, Aquaman, Courageuos Cat, Shazzan.
Fat Albert and Cosby Kids, Grape Ape, Brady Kids,
Pogo Possum, Touche Turtle and Dum Dum.
Tarzan, Hardy Boys, Secret Squirrel, Dino Boy,
Fang Face, These Are the Days, What else will we watch today?
(Chorus)
Ricochet Rabbit, Inspector Gadget,
G.I. Joe, Duck Tales, Smurfs running from Gargamel.
He Man, Popples, Transformers, The Real Ghostbusters,
Muppet Babies, Richie Rich, Silverhawks and Robotech.
Ren and Stimpy, Rug Rats, Tiny Toons, Thundercats,
Power Puff Girls – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Sponge Bob Square Pants, Xmen, Animaniacs,
Denver the last Dinosaur, I can’t watch this anymore!
(Chorus)

You should parody a Weird Al Yankovic song.

wow...did that bring back memories....
Sitting in front of my parents black and white TV on the spindly legs, with the rotating dial for channel changing, and rabbit-ears!
Somebody get me some cinnamon toast and hot chocolate! |

Love it and your creativity. Send us the U-Tube link when you put it up! I write new lyrics for the DUI classes I teach. Some of them I have posted at DUI Songs

A patter song! I like it!
You should do it to the tune of "I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General". Or another one of Gilbert & Sullivan's patter songs...

I knocked this off last Sept.
A Warren Zevon song parody....for those who endured to 80's
I bought into the market
Like my broker told me to
How was I to know
Wall Street's going code blue
I'm hiding in gold bullion
I'm a desperate man
Get lawyers, guns and money
Or buy your food in cans
Now I'm an innocent bystander
Eating rice and beans
Waiting for a bailout
My end exceeds my means -----Added 7/21/2009 at 04:51:41 EST----- Quote:
