Music Discuss all things musical
Then David and all the house of Israel played music before the LORD on all kinds of instruments of fir wood, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on sistrums, and on cymbals. (2 Sam 6:5)

Mmmmm, fond memories of "Hair", if there ever is such a thing.

A tribute to my husband and other 'Nam War vets...

He didn't want to go... He got a draft notice and obeyed it. Went to El Paso for Vietnamese language school, served in the 101st Airborne Div. at LZ Sally, at Phu Bai and Quang Tri...

Sometimes I wish I'd known the man he was before he ever went to Vietnam, rather than only the one who came back.

There's a part of him on the Wall, see, a part beyond what "went" with the names of so many of his buddies that he traced onto sheets of paper when we visited the Wall...

May there never be another Vietnam... May the Lord be pleased to bring to an end what's going on in Iraq right now, so that no more families have to suffer the hurt and the pain that never ends on this earth...

Amen.
