Music Discuss all things musical
Then David and all the house of Israel played music before the LORD on all kinds of instruments of fir wood, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on sistrums, and on cymbals. (2 Sam 6:5)

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God.

"The Planets". My mind just blanked, and I don't remember who it's by...

Oh, right. Gustav Holst.

Methinks you're asking too narrow a question, Joe. Why don't you broaden the parameters a bit?

"The Planets" is like classic sci-fi soundtrack material. Especially Mars.

I ahve tons of other stuff but very little classical... plus should it not be encouraging to see someone as young as me interested in classical music... not that you are old but... oh never mind.

Joseph,

Check out Magnatune. It's a collection of independent musicians where you name your own price for each album. I have gotten some wonderful classical music here.
