Then David and all the house of Israel played music before the LORD on all kinds of instruments of fir wood, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on sistrums, and on cymbals. (2 Sam 6:5)

I'm not much of a fan of the deep voices but good song. I just can't catch what one word is, though. "I'ma tell the truth when I'm rappin' in the..." In the booth? boof? roof? I dunno

Aaaaaaggggghhhhh! I am a dinoasaur!

I canNOT appreciate, enjoy, benefit from, sympathetically listen to (etc.) the form of rap, hip-hop, etc. Even the terminally annoying Zamfir and his pan flute is easier to put up with than rap!

I'm locked in a time capsule with Bach and Bob Dylan.

[It was kind of funny]

Don't miss my beef with nonsense rap,
'Cause if I list'n to more I'll pop a cap.

Go after that rapper who rhymes like a fool,
Makes me wanna just lose my cool.

Calvin was a thinker, a God-man so great,
But these two bit rappers I just wanna hate.

I duzn't likes rap, even done by some brotha
Mostly white wannabes, so why do they botha?

Yo now listen Denny E., you gotzta chill like ice
Cuz' you be talkin lots of smack, and it really aint nice.
Our brothas who be rappin mostly came from da hood
where by God's amazing grace they saw that He was good.
You may think they bust lyrics and destroy many rhymes
yet God has used these music men in many ways and times.
Their culture may be diff'rent and the rappers young--
but the hood is one of many nations, tribes, and tongues.
They're bringing the gospel to the elect who aint reached
and are disciplin' many folk who aint never been teached.
If you don't like their kind'uh music or their rappin', that's fine
just ne'er forget uh'these ministers Christ'll say, "he's mine."

Excuuuuuuuuse me, Andrew. Obviously my communication was incomplete or misdirected.

My complaint was with the surplus of white rappers who "bite off" the experience of our brethren in the hood with their inauthentic versions of the hip hop experience.

The prior sentence indicated my general disinclination to enjoy rhyming music as accompaniment to a strong rhythmic line, even when done by those somewhat culturally distinct from me, but nevertheless including many of those for whom Christ died. However, whether it is my cup of tea or not to listen to genuine brothers rapping their message, I cannot abide honkies, crackers, and wannabes who affect the argot of the hood for their own commercial purposes.

Is that clearer?

Oh oh OH!!!! So now you're talking about me personally?!?!

As if. But hey, it's all good. I was pretty confident you weren't slamming our legit brothers.
