Music Discuss all things musical
Then David and all the house of Israel played music before the LORD on all kinds of instruments of fir wood, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on sistrums, and on cymbals. (2 Sam 6:5)

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God.

Sad, sad...

You know, it's really sentimental to me to check out these old songs and videos. What seems so terrible to me is that as a small child I heard Bad Company and such. When the 80's came along I rebelled and said, "Man! I hate MTV and all these sissy groups!" Ten years later I was buying up all the 80's songs I coould find. Now I'm looking back at twenty years (or so) ago when I turned up my nose at "the new music" and it's OLD! Also, the guys like my youngest son-in-law who made fun of my 70's music and how the 70's musicians were all "burned out old hippies who had done too many drugs" are now looking back at their old groups. Now THEY are the oldies and if you don't think they did drugs just look at their hair styles!I can see now that we all had a lot to learn.
