Funny, I had always thought that the first tune had been recorded by CCR (having only heard it in passing on the radio). The two bands have a similar sound on that song.

Not only do the two groups sound similar instrumentally, the singer from the Hollies and John Fogerty both lose the enunciation of the words at the same points, thus making their singing sound similar.
