Guitar players - take a look at the way Michael plays. There's only one other guy I've ever seen do this. He plays left handed but has it strung as a right handed guitar. In other words, he plays upside down.

Michael Card is, imo, one of the best songwriters in the church today. He also is a finely gifted musician. As to his guitar technique. I know of a man who plays the same way. He, too, writes. It is difficult to play the songs that he writes as a right handed player. The picking is difficult. It does lend itself to a unique sound.
