These Psalms of the Trinity Psalter recordings are my favorite. Some a capella, some organ accompaniment.

This is the great reason why so many Christians, who will certainly go to heaven—do walk in darkness, and lie down in sorrow." - Thomas Brooks

These singers are very good on the Scottish Psalms, but they do have an organ, used judiciously:-

https://store.ligonier.org/product.a...roduct=PSA03CI

For unaccompanied Scottish Gaelic Psalms - which is a slightly different experience to the former CD - try Salm I and II. (Pronounced "Saalim"):-

http://www.footstompin.com/products/...ers_salm_vol_2

Here are the Psalms in English sung in Scotland without an organ:-

Yvonne, as is evidenced by the responses in this thread, I am confident answering in the affirmative that someone, somewhere knows of some good Psalter albums on CD.

It is God that multiplies our sorrows....
God, as a righteous Judge, does it, which ought to silence us under all our sorrows; as many as they are, we have deserved them all, and more: nay, God, as a tender Father, does it for our necessary correction, that we may be humbled for sin, and weaned from the world by all our sorrows; and the good we get by them, with the comfort we have under them, will abundantly balance our sorrows, how greatly soever they are multiplied. - Matthew Henry

There is a group called 'The Protestant Reformed Psalm Singing Choir' as well. They use the 1912 United Presbyterian Psalter for their songs. They are nice to listen to- but they are not a capella.
