Alabama Music for Friday

I can still remember the first time I heard their signature song. I was sitting in the truck one night waiting on a meeting. I sure sounded good on that AM radio. (For you whipper snappers that device playing the music is a record player and the 'disc' is a record. That little square thing above it to the right is an alarm clock.)

Ever chopped or picked cotton? It's hard work. Picking is murder on your fingers and back. Please disregard the stupidity of the young baseball players. Too true to reality.

Ever felt like your life was careering out of control? You are not alone.

And, their show stopper:

Turntables are the best. I love that wonderful moment of anticipation after the needle is on the vinyl, but before the music starts.
