RPW & "the doxology"

"Praise God from Whom all blessings flow,
praise Him all creatures here below,
praise Him above ye heavenly host,
praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen."

Is this doxology, or any other mandated in a corporte worship service? I know its part of a hymn. I'm reexamining all elements of our corporate worship to see what may or may not be legitimate in the eyes of God. Thanks.
"In Christ",
Bobby

When, therefore, I became a teacher of apologetics it was natural for me to think, not only of my Th.M. and my Ph.D., but above all of my V.D.M. The former degrees were but means whereby I might be true to the latter degree." Cornelius Van Til

I do not see how there could be any problem with it if one believes that there are "hymns" and "spiritual songs" that are legitimate for worship outside of the Psalms and the rest of Scriptural text.

As an EP congregation, we sing doxologies from the Psalms. We would not include this in our worship.

We do nothing in corporate worship between the Call to Worship and the Benediction that we would not consider Scripturally "allowable." We would and do warm up with the Doxology before the Call to Worship, and other things that are equally helpful outside of the corporate worship service.
