| I want to learn more about Hellenization (greek influence)
Of the Church, especially the Western Church.
I hear this charge among liberals, non-Trinitarians, and even Eastern Orthodox. I have read some things that dispel much of this, and also realize that the Greeks further discovery of the laws of logic were a very important part of the Church's understanding of Scripture. Regardless, the Charge that the Church must Systematize things simply because we are "Greek thinkers" seems kind of weak to me.
Can anybody give me some back ground or point me to some good sources, preferably orthodox, on how "Greek thought" influenced the Church?
