| | | HELP: Need Solid church in Munich Germany
I have a friend relocating with Agilent to Munich Germany and she is looking for a solid Calvinistic Church (Presbyterian or Baptist is not an issue)
If any one has any ideas it would be great. Preferably the church would be English speaking since she will only be there for a year.
thanks!!!

Matthew,
A few years ago I spoke several times at a weekend men's retreat for the Munich International Community Church ( Munich International Community Church). Then, when we returned to Munich, they had me preach at their regular worship service on Sunday afternoon. The pastor is biblically solid, loves Piper, used to work for the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, and has a large framed picture of B.B. Warfield in his office. I don't know how Reformed he is, but those are pretty good signs for me. Plus the church is in English, has at least a couple of hundred folks in weekly worship, and seems generally a cut above what you might expect.

Worth a look.

Of course, I was visiting German-speaking churches. There were no Calvinistic options in that market.

My daughter lives in Munich, and has attended that church from time to time. She told me a few months ago that the church is going through a church fight. I don't have the details, but she says it is serious. So, be prepared.

If you're still stuck, you might get in contact with the German Reformation Project run by a former classmate of mine, Dr. Sacha Wallicord. He is from Germany and he is seeking to establish a Reformed Presbyterian presence in Luther's stomping grounds.
