Change of offices in the NT

The OT was characterized by a particular concentration of God's blessing on a local people. Now that streams of living water flow to all nations perhaps the offices have been 'diluted', for a lack of terminology.

Are pastors the NT prophets?

Are deacons the NT priests?

Are elders the NT kings?

Are I out in left field?

To get to know the man behind the pitcher is to get to know the second baseman. After that is centre field. Left field is beside, but fortunately right of centre, for the centre fielder. So you're not in bad company here.

Good questions.
