Even so, come, Lord Jesus! (Rev. 22:20)

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God.

Westboro Baptist Interview

Warning - the blog itself has an image of Christ.

That being said - read the words.

I put it here, since they are so firmly convinced the time is right around the corner. (Even so, come quickly, Lord!)

It is an amazing example of how the truth can be co-mingled with error to produce such rotten fruit.

You mean an imagined picture of a pretended Christ.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm confused by something in the interview. In question #3, part of the response was
Quote:
with NO women preachers or women being anything when the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ meets except uncut hair, head-covered, participating in the song service and otherwise, remaining silent during the service, etc.
What exactly does "or women being anything" mean? Even when I look at what follows that portion, I still don't understand what they're trying to say. I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt of...well...something good here, but I can't figure this one out.

Was this an in-person interview? The transcript leads me to believe it was, but Josh's preface sounds like it was typed out online.

It appears that it was a written interview, rather than in person. One of the Phelps criticizes the blogger in the comments section for not posting the original, and he responds that he will post the original as a .pdf later on.

I read the part about a "woman not being anything" as simply poorly worded and stressing the lack of any unbiblical role (by their interpretation) for women in their worship services.

Wow, they sound mentally unstable.

I worked on a pysch floor in the past and I am feeling like I have heard rants like this one before.

I have seen them in action in my home town and the four letter obscenities from their mouths indicate they are not true believers. They are a bunch of crackpots who want to make a name for themselves under the guise of religion.
